Thank you for checking out Brown County Christian School for your child’s educational needs. In the spring of 2023, it was decided that Victory Life Academy Brownwood, also known as Brown County Christian School, would cease operating as a Victory Life Academy school. Dr. Sarah Morrison of VLA wrote this, “Due to the changing season for BCCS, and with the realization of increased inflation costs and needs for families, it is time to relinquish satellite accreditation and remove oversight of Victory Life Academy Brownwood, DBA Brown County Christian School from the Durant Academy leadership team. This was not done lightly, and careful consideration was taken for this decision.”
However, in exciting news, Brown County Christian School is continuing the tradition of private education here in Brown County. BCCS will be governed and operated by a newly formed organization called Central Texas Education Center. You can still find general information about the school at www.bcc.school, but you must head to the Centex website to enroll.
