


In 2017, Ms. Amanda took her inspiration from her mom through homeschool and began working with children as a teaching assistant at a private Montessori school for a thriving in a God-centered environment. With additional experience in childcare, early child education and behavioral development for 5 years, she worked with children who have different learning styles. Ms. Amanda became a certified IM (Interactive Metronome) therapist working to help with the cognitive development and processing of the brain. She uses her experience and training to cultivate a Pre-K environment that is conducive to learning and fun.
Ms. Amanda looks forward to seeing children grow and develop both happily and healthily. She looks forward to expanding her knowledge & understanding in what she believes God placed in her to share with children.

Mrs. Kimmie brings global awareness to her students. She is passionate about cultures along with the way boys and girls respond and relate to the world around them though educational experiences.
Mrs. Kimmie is a wife of 36 years to Truett, a mom to six kids, which includes BCCS graduates and current students. She is also a proud grandmother.

Mrs. Burns considers teaching children a privilege and relates that the Lord called her to teach after she raised four children.
Some of the greatest moments that she enjoys are watching students becoming successful spiritually and academically. Mrs. Burns says that she learns and grows each year from new educational experiences and from the students.

Ms. Wunderle has been in music for 21 years and played clarinet, which is her main instrument, for 20. She’s also had piano and vocal training throughout the years. She made All Region Band 5 times and went on to All State twice for her performance in clarinet. Ms. Wunderle has taught vocal lessons for four years before moving to Texas and now plays in the Brownwood Community Band.

Along with teaching middle and high school students, Mr. Layton leads our IT.
He is passionately dedicated to seeing students develop a firm relationship with the Lord through learning academic content, praying, declaring God’s Word, worshiping God, and living by faith in action.

He’s Warrior the Fish who greets kids every morning. Warrior wishes to pass along the following message, “Glub, glub.” When not teaching about the underwater world, he enjoys long naps in his castle and relaxing under aquatic plants.
